Shifting Landscapes 360° film for VR
In collaboration with Twin Vision media we created immersive performance experiences through VR for hospitalised children. The films were created in 360° in natural coastal and forest landscapes that can be viewed through VR headsets, enabling children and young people to simultaneously explore the environment, as well as experience dance performance.
We launched this project at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and our two films Oscillate and Dwell are installed on VR headsets for the use of the Psychology, Dentistry, Vascular Access and Play teams.
When we tested the the films on the neuromedical and cardiac wards the children said:
'I'm in the forest, this is so cool!'
'It's all calm, I feel calm.'
'I think other children might like this too you know.'
'This is better than Lapland.'
'Can I keep this? This is mine now!!’
'I feel like I'm not in hospital'
